Who Are You?
I'm Waya, or you can call me Wolf. I use any and all pronouns; whatever you see fit and feel comfortable using for me.
I'm simply a disabled artist trying to make a living and make my dreams come true.
I am currently trying to save up for my fiance and I's wedding and honeymoon, if you would like to help in any way, please check out the SHOP tab; it will take you straight to a page where you can select from my Ko-Fi, Etsy, or Commission Information. From there you can either make a one time donation or buy something from my shops there.
Anything helps us greatly right now.
Where Do You Post?
The only social media sites I use now are BlueSky and Tumblr, which are both under the same name; BarkingRedWolf.
Over the years, I have become more and more selective and reclusive with what I share and post about, and mostly aim to use this site as my main hub for sharing anything and everything I feel like sharing.
You may find my other accounts elsewhere, but you will notice they are mostly inactive/empty. You're free to follow me anywhere you see my accounts, but if the account hasn't been touched in a while, it's safe to assume it's inactive now.
What Supplies Do You Use?
For stained glass, I use high quality glasses such as Youghiogheny, Kokomo and Oceanside, copper foil, and 60/40 solder. The soldering iron I use is the Weller W100P and I switch out the tip depending on the project. I use a paste flux.
I get all of my glass supplies from
Anything In Stained Glass.
For beadwork, I use high quality beads such as Toho and Preciosa and nylon beading thread. For the backings, I always use faux leather/pleather.
I get my supplies from two places;
Fire Mountain Gems and
Powwow Bling
How Did You Get Into Stained Glass and Beadwork?
I got into stained glass at the age of 13, learning from my father. I don't know what it was that drove me to the medium, I just instantly and immediatly fell in love with it, its challenges, and everytime I finished a piece, I always felt good. Accomplished.
As with everything, I am obviously still ever learning, and aim to only improve as more years pass and I gain more experiance with this wonderful medium.
Beadwork, however, was a more recent medium I picked up. I felt intense pulls and urges to do it, as it looked like something I would enjoy. Much like with stained glass, I fell in love with the medium instantly, and only aim to improve with every piece I come up with and make.
